TUTOR: Xanthe Mosley
Xanthe Mosley has been involved for many years with Arts in the community. For five years she was Artist-in-Residence at the Devon County Show, where she had annual exhibitions. She has just completed a huge project for EHCA (Exeter Heath Care Arts) at the RD&E Hospital (Royal Devon and Exeter) resulting in a permanent landscape installation over a hundred foot long, and where she conducted workshops. She has drawn or painted many local people in her capacity as a Portrait Artist.
Xanthe is a firm believer in the virtues of life-drawing, both as a challenging method of developing technique and as a way of understanding Art as a transition between people. She has taught and organised life-drawing classes over many years.
