David Brampton Greene

David studied sculpture at Central St Martins and Wimbledon School of Art. He met sculptor, Peter Randall-Page in the early 80's and began a friendship and working relationship which has continued to this day.

David has also spent time working marble in Carrara, Italy and has huge experience of stone carving  and the technical aspects of making sculptural form.

 

He is a natural teacher and has run a numerous courses in stone carving, relief carving and drawing workshops around the country  at for example The Serpentine Gallery, 3D Design at Exeter College 2003 (and) the Natural History Museum and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

In 2009, he also took part in the 'Milestones' international stone symposium organised by Edinburgh University.
