TUTOR: Alan Lee

Alan Lee studied graphic design at Ealing School of Art and since 1970 has worked in publishing, concentrating on children’s books and books with a basis in myth and fairytale. Recently, Alan Lee spent six years in New Zealand working as conceptual designer on the Peter Jackson film trilogy of ‘The Lord of The Rings’ and received an Academy Award for art direction on ‘The Return of The King’. He is currently working on more book projects.
