TUTORS: Anson Hartford, Hugh Hartford and Chris Jones
Anson, Hugh and Chris run a company called Banyak Productions, that specialise in observational documentaries and have produced work for BBC films, The Film Council, BBC 4, the National Geographic as well as a host of charities and corporate businesses.
A branch of Banyak is ‘Cinemarvelous’ which is a collective of filmmakers running film workshops in various youth clubs and festivals around the country.
Anson has 5 years of experience in running workshops where films are created in collaboration with the participants. The aim is to produce professional short documentaries that have a life outside just being screened to friends and family. These films have been screened on BBC 2 and at the V & A as well as in situ.
