The Summer school is centered upon the Dartmoor village of Drewsteignton, with most courses or events held within walking distance.

Trains run from Waterloo and Paddington to Exeter St David's

Buses run from Exeter St David's station to Exeter bus station. X10 and X9 service runs from Exeter bus station direct to Drewsteignton and Cheriton Bishop which is a few miles from Drewsteignton. Students can arrange to be picked up from there if needed.

Drewsteignton has a post office and shop, providing fresh local produce, bread, cheese, pies, vegetables, meat and a wide selection of convenience foods.
